Parents and fans,

Julie Shurley is organizing the Friday morning pregame meals for the players. She is in need of volunteers to help cook and serve food. We are also in need of donations for milk, juice, and fruit. If interested, please call Julie at 389-1842. Thanks for your time and commitment.

Parent Meeting

Parents,

This Tuesday night will begin the regular Tuesday night parent meetings. I will be in the Atrium at 6:15 and we will meet no later than 6:35. See you then.

Team Meeting

There will be a team meeting after practice on Thursday night, August 13, in the Field House. We will be discussing the player packets and contracts. Parents, your sons will be home a little later than normal.

Booster Club and Parent Meeting

Hello parents,

One thing I forgot to mention in the meeting was about joining the Booster Club. President Jim Cummins says that whatever sport has the highest percentage of parents join, that sport will receive 500 dollars to spend however they see fit. Our players would benefit from that so everyone be sure to join!

Here is a schedule over the next couple of weeks. It is subject to change but this is fairly accurate.

August 10 – Monday – 6:00 am (Freshman Optional) – Special Teams Practice;
3:30-6:30 – Practice

August 11 – Tuesday – 6:00 am (Freshman Optional) – Special Teams Practice;
3:30-6:30 – Practice

August 12 – Wednesday – 6:00 am – Special Teams Practice & 3:30-6:30 – Practice

August 13 – Thursday – First Day of School –3:30-6:30 – Practice after school

August 14 – Friday – 3:40-6:40 – Practice

August 15 – Saturday - Pictures 9:00 am; Discount Card Blitz after pictures until 3 pm; Black and Gold Night – Meet the Wildcats @ 7:00 pm

August 17 – Monday - 6:00 am - Special Teams Practice; 3:40-6:40 – Practice after school

August 18-20 - Tuesday-Thursday – Practice after school

August 21 – Friday - Jamboree @ JFK (Parkview)

August 28 – Friday - Neosho @ Seneca – 7:00 pm

September 7 – Monday - Labor Day – All Wildcats are happy to be laboring for Neosho! – Practice TBA

Parent Meeting and Equipment Dropoff

There is a parent meeting Sunday, August 9 in the high school auditorium at 2 pm. We will be discussing the upcoming season and expectations. Players need to drop off their equipment in the field house at 2 pm also.
