Signing Out

I would like to thank all of the people that have contributed to the success of Neosho Football over the last two years. There were many people that played huge roles in helping the kids and supporting the coaches. For that I am grateful and want to extend my most sincere thanks.

Neosho football will continue and thrive every year. I look forward to keeping tabs on the Wildcats in the future and following the successes of all the the players that I have had the privilege of coaching and working with.

Neosho is a great community and will be fondly remembered by my family. I wish the Cats the best!

Thanks,

Coach Flannigan

Relief for Haiti

Recently, students of Neosho donated money into milk jugs for relief for the earthquake in Haiti. Each jug had a teacher's photo taped to it. The top two money collectors were assistant principal Kevin Jackson, and the football team's very own Coach Schoonover. As a prize the two of them had to take a pie in the face! Here are some of the pics from that event.

Thanks to Coach Schoon and Mr. Jackson for being such good sports!

Cats Doing Community Service

The Neosho Football Team is active in community service projects. Some of the projects the Wildcat Football team has been involved in are Habitat for Humanity, Hickory Creek Stream Clean-up, Food Basket Brigade and Neosho Crosslines (donations coming from the Canned Food Scrimmage), and working the Neosho Youth Football Camps and Practices (see photos). There are many things that the fine young men that represent our football team do for the school and the community to try and make a difference. Our next project is a campus clean-up on Earth Day, April 22. We will be cleaning up around our high school campus to help improve the curb appeal for community members and visitors. If you have an idea for a project, please contact Coach Flannigan.

College Signings

The Neosho Wildcat football team has sent 2 more players to the college ranks. On national signing day February 3, Addison Rainwater and Matt Bridges both signed with Missouri Southern State University in Joplin to continue their playing careers. We are very proud of these fine young men and look forward to watching them play on Saturday in the future. They will join Anthony Westfield, Xavier Morrison, and Nick Williams on the 2010 Lions Roster.
