Summer School and Shoe Order

All football players grades 9-12 need to enroll in summer school weights. The first block begins at 6:30 am and all experienced players need to enroll in this class. The second begins at 8:00 am and all incoming freshmen, new players, and any 7th and 8th graders that are interested should enroll in this class. The summer class is critical to starting the season off on the right note. The coaching staff will be there to work with players and to help develop them for their future as a Wildcat!

Shoe order sheets will be coming home this week and need to be returned no later than May 22. Payment can be made when the gear arrives or at the time of order. We want to see everyone in the team shoe this season. Adidas is the brand of choice this year. Sheets can be dropped off at the high school office or mailed to Coach Flannigan at 511 Neosho Blvd.

More Football Players with Brains

Cody Holland was selected as the male Scholar-Athlete to represent Neosho by St. John's Sports Care and KODE TV. He will attend a special recognition banquet and be filmed in a cameo for a TV special. Good Job Cody and way to represent Neosho Football!

Tire Club 2

Here is another video of what we do in tire club. You can see the sweat on the guys as they prepare for a brutal schedule next season.

Booster Club Banquet

The Neosho Athletic Booster Club will host its Letter Winners Banquet Sunday, April 26, at the High School Cafeteria. There will be a silent auction beginning at 12:45 and the Award Program will begin at 1:30. The meal for all letter winners and coaches will be provided as for childern under the age of 8. All guests will be asked to purchase the meal for 10.00 in advance or 12.00 at the door. I would encourage all athletes and parents to attend. The Booster Club does a great deal for the football program and we should show our support and gratification as well. Please RSVP to Angie McCAuley by April 15 at 451-8670 or at mccauleyangela@neosho.k12.mo.us.

Thanks

Players Volunteer Time

Some members of the Neosho Football Team volunteered their time on Saturday, April 11, to the Shoal Creek Watershed to help clean up Morse Park and Hickory Creek. There were around 40 players that donated their time for this community service project to clean and beautify one of Neosho's parks. This effort works to meet one of the Wildcat Football Goals which is Community Service and Outreach. You can visit www.neoshodailynews.com for the complete story.

More 2008 Pics

Check out the last of the 2008 photos courtesy of Neosho Daily News. This will be the last of the 2008 pictures to be posted. Remember the work and sacrifice that it took to get to the point where we were in these pictures. We must double that for 2009 to be as successful and more successful. Click here to view the pictures.
